Be Our dahlias are open pollinated, so each seed will bring forth a new and unique variety. Enjoying dahlias from seed is a great way to indulge in this beautiful flower. Seeds germinate easily, and plants grow quickly. Flowers bloom from mid to late July through the first frost. Start indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost. Cover seeds with 1/4” soil, and keep the surface moist through germination. A spray bottle works great. After germination bottom water. Do not allow plants to sit in water or become root bound. Plant out after your last frost into well drained soil.
